While we stock sheetrock in various different sizes, we are now carrying lightweight sheetrock in 1/2" 4x8 sheets!  Lightweight sheetrock weighs about 30% less that standard sheetrock and can make your home projects much easier!  The new sheetrock carries ULs Environmental Claims Validation for 95% recycled content, a 20% reduction in transportation energy, 15% raw materials conservation, and low VOC emittance.  This new lightweight sheetrock cuts and snaps easier than standard rock and can be used for most applications that standard sheetrock is used for (with the exception of projects that require extra mold or fire resistence).
