Mountain View Deck
This beautiful deck, built by a customer of ours named Victor who lives in Mountain View, was built to expand Victor's living space to his backyard. As we walked through the deck material and color selection process with Victor, we kept his objectives in mind as we selected products that worked for his yard. He ended up going with TimberTech's XLM series in Harvest Bronze, with a Rustic Bark picture frame around the outside. He selected TimberTech's RadianceRail with Traditional Walnut posts and rails with Traditional White ballusters. All of Victor's posts have Decklights post cap lighting by TimberTech that help give his deck a nice, warm feel at night while keeping it well lit. He also has Riserlights on his steps.
Well done Victor!

First Step: Foundation!

Next, Victor had to pour a concrete step up from his sideyard to his deck.

Victor had his hands full with quite an intricate framing job! The framing for his deck was done with our Pressure treated "brown" Douglas Fir.
Next step: Setting up the wiring and transformer for the TimberTech Decklights!

Once the posts and RadianceRail were installed, the wiring for the lights was easily slipped up through the hollow post sleeves, making it easy to hook the wires up to the ultra-bright post cap lighting.

Things really started to come together once the deck boards were layed down!

Victor did an excellent job keeping the natural landscape in his backyard and building his deck around trees and plants, giving his outdoor living space a much more natural feel.

Notice how the TimberTech ConceaLoc fasteners make for an extremely clean, blemish-free surface on Victor's deck by eliminating the need for scew heads on the top of the deck.
Spectacular job Victor! Thanks for sharing your deck with us!
